By offering the very limited resources of the university to complete a good studying environment for the students and lecturers, the university can be proud to offer a working environment which is even for western European Universities not usual. Due to this decision to support the students and lecturers with a comfortable working environment, some advantages for the locality are expected and the alumni's will be influenced by this in their later decision processes for creating their working environment.

Hand Library

Modern international literature is one of the core elements of a successful studying environment. To support the syllabus development, international literature was planned to be used by the Uzbek teachers already in the project proposal phase. In later meetings of the steering group some aspect have arose even to increase the budget position for buying literature. By this a special hand library with specific literature in Russian and English language will be ready to be used by the students of the Master course. The Russian books for the introduction to the topics will be available in several copies, so that there will be no necessarily for the students to buy these books themselves. The English literature has proven as very helpful within the syllabus development process. After finishing the process, this literature will be available for the students in the hand library, too.

Furthermore, there is an amount of money foreseen in the budget to prepare own publications in joint authorship between the Uzbek, Spanish and German colleagues. This publications can be case studies, practical or specific literature to support the lessons. Form this, there are 9 Publications in English Language on the schedule, in order to provide the materials to the students. For the Uzbek students it will be not possible to buy international literature themselves and by this, there will be a possibility to provide the literature free of charge for the students. And this specific literature will be dedicated to the needs of the country and / or central Asian region, which does not exists in a suitable amount at present.

The Tashkent Partner Institution was able to increase the volume of the English literature by finding additional international programs for supporting the library with English literature. These books can be used by the MAHMIT students, too and is expanding the existing Hand library useful.
