MAHMIT is a curricula developing project, with a consortium of four universities. The University of Applied Sciences Braunschweig / Wolfenbüttel is the Contractor towards the European Commission. The University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück and the Instituto de Estudios Superiores Barcelona are further project and consortium members on european side. The Uzbek partnerinstitution and main beneficiary of the project is the Pediatric University Tashkent. Here the new course will be established (staring September 2004 with the first intake).
By signing the contract between the European Commission and the University of Applied Sciences Braunschweig / Wolfenbüttel, the project started on 1st September 2003 officially and legally. The actual project work started even before the official date in order to prepare the first acticvities and setting the communication structure between the partners. The project will be realised between 1st September 2003 and 31st August 2006. The tasks in the project contains of the following main topics:
Establishing of two contact offices (UZB and D) for better communication structure
Joint development of the curriculum
Joint development of the syllabi
Support with modern technical equipment for the Master course
Support with literature for the hand library
Co-operation with different institutions (Ministries, Health institutions etc.)
Public Relations, advertisement, Monitoring activities
Presentation and dissemination of the results of the project
